Last week, John Glenn’s Emma Briggs received 593 of 1,311 votes to edge out Meadowbrook’s Taylor Sichina, who had 419 votes.

Wyatt Mynes, Maysville, set a school record for career goals after scoring twice in Tuesday’s win over Coshocton.
Evelyn Newton, Morgan, hit 20 kills in Tuesday’s victory against Crooksville.
Jorja Burkhart, New Lex, set up 40 assists in a win over Coshocton and served eight aces in a victory over Crooksville.
Haley Balo, River View, had 15 kills in Tuesday’s victory against Philo and 22 kills in a win over Maysville on Thursday.
Taylor Crozier, Tri-Valley, won the girls race at the Utica Invitational on Tuesday.
Anna McVicker, Buckeye Trail, had 10 kills, seven assists and six digs in a sweep of Newcomerstown.
Riley Needles, Zanesville, scored a hat trick in a win over Northridge.
