LONDON, Nov 10 (Reuters) – British finance minister Jeremy Hunt said the government’s plan to reduce inflation would help revive growth, after official data on Friday showed the country’s economic output failed to grow in the July-to-September period.

“High inflation is the single greatest barrier to economic growth,” he said in a statement.

“The Autumn Statement will focus on how we get the economy growing healthily again by unlocking investment, getting people back into work and reforming our public services.”
