That “traitor” might have what it takes.

President Trump talked up Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) political future — and overlooked their recent feud — even as the wayward MAGA loyalist prepares to quit Congress in January.

“It’s not going to be easy for her” to bring back her career in politics, the president said in a brief call with NBC Saturday. “I’d love to see that.”

Trump also advised that “she’s got to take a little rest.”

Those comments came on a day when he sounded ready to let bygones be bygones.

When a reporter asked the president about the longtime MAGA lawmaker, he demurred.

“Forgive for what? I just disagreed with her philosophy,” Trump, 79, said.

It was the second time in as many days that Trump was willing to turn the other cheek toward someone he had once excoriated.

He held a love-fest inside the Oval Office with Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani Friday, declining to call him a communist while brushing off Mamdani having called him a despot.

Earlier Saturday, he had been less charitable to Greene, 51, who was elected in 2021 and once ferverntly backed his agenda, only to clash with Trump over the Epstein files, price inflation, and the government shutdown in recent weeks.

Trump on Truth Social called her “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown” and said she is leaving Congress “because of PLUMMETING Poll Numbers.” He termed her someone who had “no chance of winning” after he pulled back his support for her.

And he told ABC after her shock announcement Friday night that it was “great news for the country” she was stepping down.

Greene, who made the rounds on cable TV during her extraordinary break with Trump and railed against the “political industrial complex” in her retirement announcement, is being mentioned as a potential candidate for Senate, the Georgia governorship, or even the White House in 2028.
