And today, let’s talk a little bit about the fight for control of the House. Now, the latest speaker drama underscores why Republicans are desperate to expand their 222 to 213 majority next year and why Democrats believe they can convince voters that Republicans shouldn’t be trusted with the keys to power and why they believe they can pick up the five seats they need for the majority.

Now, in reality, it’s unlikely voters are going to be putting this latest food fight. Front of mind a year from now, unless there’s an extended government shutdown that that lasts into the election year itself, but the
