Double D Foundation raises $915,000 at Georgia banquet to expand shooting sports
BLACK CREEK, Ga. —
The Double D Foundation raised $915,000 in gross proceeds at its 2026 Annual Georgia Banquet, supporting its work with shooting teams and organizations across the state.
The event was held Oct. 15 at Daniel Defense headquarters in Black Creek. Foundation founder Cindy Daniel credited donors, sponsors, partners, attendees and volunteers for making the banquet possible.
“The support we receive every year allows us to continue our mission across Georgia, growing participation in the shooting sports and safeguarding the Second Amendment for generations to come,” Daniel said.
Pete Brownell, chairman of Brownells and 2nd Adventure Group, served as keynote speaker and received the foundation’s 2026 Patriot Award. The award recognizes leadership in protecting the Second Amendment and expanding participation in shooting sports.
David Kulivan, the foundation’s executive director, said 100% of the banquet’s net proceeds will help provide ammunition, targets, safety equipment and other assistance to teams and organizations throughout Georgia.
The foundation also recognized its 2026 corporate partners: Patriot Mobile, Brownells Foundation and Davidson’s.
Founded in 2021 by Daniel, who is executive vice president of Daniel Defense, the nonprofit says it has raised more than $5.6 million through events, sweepstakes and corporate partnerships. It says it supports hundreds of shooting teams and organizations serving more than 10,000 participants annually.
