Running back Braelon Allen has made his decision about his plans for the 2024 season.
Allen announced on Tuesday that he will be entering the NFL Draft after spending the last three seasons at the University of Wisconsin. Allen is not expected to play in Wisconsin’s bowl game as he turns his attention to preparing for life in the professional ranks.
Allen joined Ron Dayne, James White and Jonathan Taylor as Badger freshmen to run for 1,000 yards and he leaves Madison with 3,494 rushing yards and 35 rushing touchdowns. He earned second-team All-Big Ten honors in each of his first two seasons.
The conference has a couple of other top running back prospects in Blake Corum and Trayveon Henderson. All three should be pretty high on the big board of backs heading into April.
