Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya will travel to New York City September 14, 2023. During her visit, she will participate in a fireside chat on “Driving Digital Democratic Renewal” as part of a Jigsaw-hosted convening with Internet freedom experts on “Confronting Digital Authoritarianism.” She will also speak with The City University of New York Macaulay Honors College students at a State Department recruitment event.
