This $22 Sports Bra Is Comfier Than Expensive Styles

I officially swore off underwire bras earlier this year; long story short, they’re incredibly uncomfortable. But even after switching to strictly wireless styles, I was still on the hunt for a comfortable sports bra that could support me through high-intensity workouts — preferably something that wasn’t too constricting.

During a recent shopping trip to Target, I picked up the JoyLab Seamless Strappy Bra after moseying past a display table and seeing the cute design that resembled ones found at high-end stores. Little did I know that after just one wear to the gym, I’d be so impressed that I’d go online and immediately order another. And at just $22, I’m buying more colors of this comfy style to replace all of my old sports bras.

As someone with a fuller bust (I wear a 36C in regular bras), I usually opt for a size large in sports bras, and this one fits perfectly. It gives ample support during runs, cycling, and weight training. The strappy crisscross style offers added support and stability that makes running less painful on my chest, and it’s made from a breathable fabric with removable cups to suit your comfort level. 

Aside from workouts, it’s comfortable enough to wear daily under my go-to loungewear pieces at home and jackets while running errands in the city. I honestly forget I’m even wearing a sports bra half of the time since it’s stretchy and doesn’t create any weird seam bulging through my clothes. 

But don’t just take my word for it; shoppers love the bra as well, with one in particular who called it “very comfortable” and added that it gave their bust a “nice, natural shape” while their back “stayed smooth” around the straps. Another person said it “holds everything in” and even “kept [them] cool” during a yoga session. I’d have to agree with a third reviewer who said the style is “so good for its price point,” considering I’ve owned my fair share of high-priced activewear, and they don’t even hold a candle to this affordable option.
