ALPENA — The Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library is thrilled to welcome Claire Evans back to take us on a culinary tour just in time for the holidays.
This free program will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 at the library and via Zoom.
Inspired by the BBC and PBS hit “The Great British Baking Show,” she’ll translate the trickiest parts of British recipes for Americans so you can try them in your own kitchen. Pick up useful travel tips as well, just in case you’d like to create your own tour.
Evans is a U.S.-based author, U.K. speaker, and travel and relocation consultant. She is the author of “High Tea and the Low Down,” a keenly-observed memoir full of laugh-out-loud moments as Evans experiences the reality of English living.
