St. Vrain Valley Schools has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 19th year in a row. This award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) showcases the district’s commitment to maintaining high standards of financial reporting, transparency and accountability.
“Receiving the Certificate of Achievement for the 19th consecutive year is a testament to our district’s unrelenting dedication to financial transparency and responsible reporting,” said Chief Financial Officer Greg Fieth. “This recognition reaffirms our ongoing commitment to providing accurate and clear financial information to our stakeholders.”
The GFOA has a membership exceeding 21,000 professionals. This award for governmental accounting and financial reporting is judged by an impartial panel who evaluates the annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2022. St. Vrain Valley Schools was highlighted for their clear communication of financial information and adherence to the principles of full disclosure.
