MUSKEGON, MI – Are you ready to ‘Socibowl?’ The owners of Pigeon Hill Brewing Company opened a restaurant and entertainment place in downtown Muskegon just last year and people have been flocking to the business ever since.
Socibowl touts the space as a “big kid’s wonderland,” according to their website. “We’ve set out to create the perfect space for a night out with friends, or a night where you meet your new best friends.”
The restaurant and entertainment hotspot, 441 W. Western Ave., opened its doors to the public in December 2022, inviting locals to a casual dining scene featuring a beer garden, duckpin bowling, arcade games and oversized yard games.

Jen Jordan, the general manager at Socibowl, said the best seller on the menu is by far the Muskegon Melt, one of the seven burgers offered.
For $15, the dish is a house-blended steak burger topped with Swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms, whiskey bacon onion jam, and garlic parmesan cream on a brioche bun served with ranch chips or seasoned fries.
“The garlic parm sauce is out-of-this-world fantastic and adds a little bit of magic,” Jordan told MLive/Muskegon Chronicle. “I know there’s a lot of places in town where you can get a good burger, but there’s something about the homemade fresh sauce that goes above and beyond.”
Another favorite on the menu is the relatively new item, Gutter Balls. For $13, customers get a portion of fried garlic mashed potato balls filled with chicken, bacon cheddar, mozzarella and green onion with garlic aioli on the side.
Jordan said her personal favorite is the turkey bacon avocado sandwich for $14. It comes with hickory-smoked turkey on a toasted brioche bun with bacon, avocado, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and cranberry mayo.
For customers interested in some classic games, Socibowl also offers a variety of social activities, like Jenga, Yahtzee, Connect Four, themed pinball, and duckpin bowling.
Duckpin bowling is a variation of the traditional sport, typically played on a regular-sized bowling lane but with smaller pins and bowling balls. Bowlers can rent a lane for $30 per hour.
“We are trying to create the best adult playground that’s also family-friendly,” Jordan said. “We want to be able to give everyone the experience they’re looking for, but that doesn’t mean it’s exclusive to one experience. You can honestly do everything if you want to.”
Socibowl also plans to begin duckpin bowling leagues in the near future, as well as other arcade games.
Hours of operation for the entertainment and foodie hotspot are Tuesday through Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., noon to 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
