Seattle business sends ‘travel and culture’ to doorsteps

Date:

SEATTLE — After about two decades of traveling the world, Diem Nguyen, of Seattle, decided to share her adventures with others.

While traveling, Nguyen said she recognized going abroad may not be possible for everyone.

Nguyen, who grew up multicultural and multilingual, founded Litibu Collective – an immersive food and culture travel experience in a subscription box.

“It is a way for people to explore with all 5 of their senses –– with their sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch, and with their heart,” Nguyen said.

Often, Nguyen said people told her to start a blog or vlog to share her travels, but she wanted to do something more to provide that adventure for others when they can’t leave home.
