Right at the entrance to Waikiki, a new hotel has emerged following a multimillion-dollar renovation. The Romer Waikiki at the Ambassador, formerly the Ambassador Hotel Waikiki, opened Oct. 1 with a refreshed look and easygoing vibe.
“Every Romer guest journey begins with artfully designed key cards that double as their key to the neighborhood via curated maps, programming and happenings,” according to its press release.
Guests can choose from a variety of room types, such as the City View with Bunk Bed, a lofted single bed overhead or the oceanview two-bedroom suite with 1,215 square feet. Other features include a lobby with artwork from local artists, morning coffee cart and late-night munchies cart. The Romer’s Waikiki Swim & Social Club, serving drinks and bites, is coming soon.
Rates start at $179 per night.
