An Israeli private detective has been sentenced to 80 months in prison for his role in a $4.8mn hacking scheme that targeted journalists and critics of German fintech group Wirecard.

IBM has said it has pulled its global advertising from Elon Musk’s social media platform X following a report that it ran the tech company’s adverts alongside pro-Nazi material.

Apple said on Thursday it will roll out a software update next year that will improve messaging between iPhones and Android phones.
