Erie has welcomed a new finance director to its town staff.
The new director, Sara Hancock, comes to Erie from Boulder where she worked as a principal budget analyst, and was a performance and strategy analyst in North Caroline before that. Hancock holds over a decade of experience in budget and performance management, serving in both budgetary database and analyst positions and she has a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion.
The previous finance director, Stefanie Furman, left the position over the summer, and the position was temporarily filled by interim director Victoria Runkle.
