Meet Josiah Drummer | SDPB Sports

Date:

Josiah Drummer has been wrestling since he was four years old. For the past four years, he competed in Japan while his father was stationed there with the military. When the family moved back to the United States for Josiah’s senior year of high school, they reached out to five or six wrestling programs across the country. Sturgis was the only one who responded. Not only did Sturgis welcome Josiah, but they also offered his father, Raymond, a spot on the coaching staff. That allowed him to finish coaching his son’s high school school career—something he had done nearly Josiah’s entire life.
