Shepherd moves up leaderboard

Erica Shepherd shot an even-par 72 on Wednesday to make a move up the leaderboard at Stage II of the LPGA and Epson Tour Qualifying Tournament in Venice, Florida. The Center Grove graduate balanced her card with four bogeys and four birdies, moving from 92nd place entering the day up into a tie for 68th. She remains two strokes back of the projected cutoff for advancing to the final qualifying stage in late November and early December; the top 40 plus ties will move on to that event, which will be held in Mobile, Alabama.
