Yogi Berra, the focus of ‘It Ain’t Over,’ is pictured. The film will be screened Friday at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.

It Ain’t Over (Friday at 7 p.m.) gives legendary Yankees player Yogi Berra his due in following the life of a savvy, commanding, bad-ball hitting catcher and originator (mostly) of his own brand of proverbs now ingrained into everyday life. Granddaughter Lindsay Berra tells his story along with his sons, former Yankee teammates, players he managed, writers, broadcasters, and admirers (such as Billy Crystal), plus photos and footage on and off the diamond. It Ain’t Over is rated PG and is 98 minutes long.

The late Paul Reuben stars in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure (Monday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m.) When Pee-wee Herman’s idyllic world is destroyed by the theft of his fire-engine red bicycle, the pre-pubescent adult sets out on a manic cross-country odyssey to recover his most valued possession. Director Tim Burton makes his feature-film debut with this comic masterpiece. Pee Wee’s Big Adventure is rated PG and is 90 minutes long.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include the comedy Theater Camp (Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.), the animated hit Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.) and Kathy Bates with Maggie Smith in The Miracle Club (Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.)

Tickets to Movies at The Reg are $7 for movies and $6 for family films, with an additional $1 theater restoration fee added. Special movie engagements are priced differently. Tickets may be purchased from noon to 5 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, by calling 716-484-7070 and online at reglenna.com.
