As the urgency of addressing climate change escalates, the global community must confront the uncomfortable truth that the burden of environmental degradation and its consequences disproportionately falls on the shoulders of the Global South. With COP28 bringing together stakeholders from across the world, climate financing in high on the agenda and aims to finally deliver the long-overdue target of $100 billion in climate finance for developing countries.
