The gifted singer-songwriter and established producer, Bang Ye Dam, has officially joined the talent roster of GF Entertainment, according to his recent statement on Instagram. Bang, known for his previous association with YG Entertainment’s popular boy band, Treasure, is set to embark on a new phase of his career with the support of GF Entertainment.
In a statement issued on Thursday, August 24, GF Entertainment confirmed the addition of Bang Ye-dam to their roster, saying, “We’re proud to announce that we recently signed an exclusive contract with the multi-talented Bang Ye Dam. We believe his enormous talent as a singer, songwriter, and producer will bring a refreshing change into the music industry. As a company, we are committed to giving relentless support to Bang and helping him grow in multiple aspects of his career.“
Bang Ye Dam, who kick-started his journey to stardom back in 2013 after appearing on SBS’s popular audition program, “K-pop Star Season 2,” has been a prominent figure in the Korean music industry. After clinching the runner-up position on the show, he was immediately signed by YG Entertainment where he made his official debut as a band member of Treasure in 2019. However, in November 2022, Bang ended his contract with YG Entertainment to explore other avenues of his talent as a producer.
