McCLURE — When it comes to breakfasts, there are few aromas better than that of bacon, sizzling and crisping in a pan. Throw in some eggs and serve up a breakfast fit for a king.

The Ninth Annual McClure Bacon Fest — a sizzling celebration of all things bacon — is set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Station Park in McClure. Enjoy a day filled with delicious treats, handmade crafts and family-friendly activities. The day starts with the Piggy Trot 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m.

More than 200 vendors will have mouths watering from any royalty as they offer a wide variety of handmade crafts and, of course, mouth-watering bacon treats.

From chocolate covered bacon to grilled bacon and cheese sandwiches, bacon cheeseburgers, bacon cheese fries, sugar baby bacon on a stick, maple bacon cupcakes and much more, they’ve got your bacon cravings covered.

There’s also an inflatable fun zone for all ages. Admission is free.
