HOWLAND — David H. Bissell, 61, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at home, with his wife and son by his side, after a 13-month battle with cancer.

David was born June 23, 1962, to Harold “Punk” (deceased) and Barbara Bissell.

He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and Ohio Institute of Technology.

David worked for Clark Dietrich for 38 years, until he got so ill.

He married the love of his life, Pamela Kowalczyk Bissell on June 25,1994, and together, they have one son, Brandon.

He was an avid sports fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers, along with skiing, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, golf, bowling and camping.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Pam; son, Brandon; mother, Barbara; sister, Debra (William) Danko; and many, many family and friends.

We thank many people for all that you did for us! Thank you, Traditions Hospice Care, especially Kara, and to Dr. Hemrock and her staff at the Hope Center. We are truly blessed!
