City of Franklin reminds community political signs not allowed on city property

FRANKLIN, Tenn.–The Franklin Police Department (FPD) is reminding residents political signs are not allowed on city property.

The City of Franklin reports the police department has been receiving calls from the public about political candidate signs being placed outside of the police department headquarters, City Hall and other properties.

The signs are being used for photos which are then used on social media platforms before the signs are removed. The city is reminding residents posting such signs on city property is illegal and the city does not endorse political candidates.
