The annual Sporting Kansas City Media Game returns on Wednesday, May 13 when members of the local media have the chance to put their soccer skills on full display at halftime of Sporting’s home match against the LA Galaxy at Sporting Park.
This year, 35 media members are set to take the pitch for a 10-minute showdown in front of the Sporting faithful.
Split into two teams, media members will represent Team Sporting in the club’s One KC primary jersey and Team KC donning the new 18th & Vine secondary jersey.
Sporting’s match against the LA Galaxy at Sporting Park will air live on Apple TV, while Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will carry the game on the radio. Tickets are available via SeatGeek.com.
