A pop star’s planned stop in Hershey — along with the rest of her tour dates — have been canceled.
Meghan Trainor, the singer known for hits like “All About That Bass,” won’t perform at the Giant Center in Hershey on July 5 as planned.
Trainor announced in an Instagram story on Friday that she scrapped plans for her The Get In Girl Tour.
“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,” Trainor wrote in the post. “Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.”
Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child, Mikey Moon Trainor, on Jan. 18.
The concert has been removed from Hershey Entertainment’s website, and a Ticketmaster site for the concert notes the event’s cancellation. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment used at time of purchase within 14 to 21 days, according to a message on the Ticketmaster event page.
