Former Sonar Entertainment executive Louise Oliver has been appointed to the position of senior VP of international sales at LA-based TV and film prodco Happy Accidents.

The hire signals a “significant expansion” of the company’s global sales capabilities, with Oliver bringing 17 years of experience in international content distribution across to Happy Accidents.
She began her career in TV and film at RHI Entertainment in 2008, before joining indie TV studio Sonar Entertainment in 2012, working her way up to the position of director of international distribution, EMEA, during a nine-year tenure.
Oliver joined London-based distribution company Screen Media Ventures in 2021, serving most recently in the role of VP of international sales. There, she oversaw distribution of content such as Taboo, Das Boot, The Shannara Chronicles and The Son.
Happy Accidents was founded by industry veterans Holly A Hines and Eric Jarboe. It focuses on production, development and financing content across films, scripted and unscripted series, documentaries and formats.
