Madonna revealed to a sold-out Barclays Center that she almost died during a health scare that left her in a 48-hour coma. The pop star was found unresponsive in her New York City home after “putting in 12-hour days” of strenuous rehearsing. The mother of six described waking up in the ICU surrounded by her children, saying it was a “f***ing miracle” she was alive. She later joked that it took her almost dying to get her children together in one room. The music legend said the experience made her think of her mother, who died of breast cancer at 30 years old. Madonna said she now understands the fear her mother must have felt about leaving her children on their own.
