Emma Watson Is “Glad” She Left Acting | Entertainment

Date:

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Emma Watson revealed that she is happy she decided to step away from acting. At 33, Watson shared that venturing into writing, directing, and studying provided her with more creative space. “I’m just so glad that I did (step away from acting) because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don’t think I did before – more autonomy,” Watson told British Vogue. Reflecting on her transition, she acknowledged the initial fear of the unknown but emphasized the fulfillment gained by embracing the uncertainty. Watson says she is glad she “allowed things to be messy for a minute and to really allow myself to not know (what’s next)”.
