The Hot Flashes holiday show in Wabasha Dec. 2 | Arts & Entertainment

Date:

The Hot Flashes return for their annual holiday show at WideSpot on Saturday, December 2. The 16-piece band is comprised of women from throughout the region, singing an assortment of holiday tunes as well as standards from their repertoire. They’re under the direction of multi-instrumentalist Dave Zahn.

Over the years, the group has branched out to include members playing horns, ukuleles, steel drums, and bass guitar.

WideSpot, the premiere entertainment venue in the Lake Pepin Region, is located in Wabasha’s Broadway Theater at 611 Broadway Avenue. The venue is located in the historic Mittel Schule building’s Broadway Theater. In addition to a larger auditorium with theater seating, patrons will find the ground level theater and extra facilities easy to access. There’s lots of convenient parking, and the bar, serving beer, wine, water, and sodas, will be open as well. Showtime will be at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Look for more musical and theatrical events in the coming winter/spring season.   Our winter and spring season will include a show with pianist Scottie Miller and violinist Cierra Alise Hill on January 6, Good Morning Bedlam with their upbeat American/bluegrass show on January 27, as well as The Jimmys, Kevin Kling and Simone Perrin, and more. Advance tickets for The Hot Flashes and next year’s shows are available at www.widespotperformingarts.org or by calling 715-448-0536.
