El Paso Winterfest 2023 returns with parade, tree lighting and entertainment Nov. 18

The City of El Paso Winterfest 2023 presented by the Scherr Legate will hold its lights parade and Christmas tree lighting next Saturday.

Winterfest will officially be inaugurated on Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at San Jacinto Plaza in downtown El Paso.

For opening day, the First Armored Division band will play at 4 p.m.

The St. Anthony Seminary Franciscan Friars choir will sing at 5 p.m.

The light ceremony and tree lighting will happen at 5:30 p.m. followed by holiday entertainment at 6 p.m.

The lights downtown will be available from Nov. 18 through Jan. 1.

Some streets in downtown will be closed for the parade. See the route map below:
