Science academy warns of security issues and increased barriers to partnerships

Australian researchers will need to rethink their international collaborations in an age of geopolitical concerns, according to the national science academy.

An Australian Academy of Science report, published on 1 November, says that a growing international awareness of science and technology as a “sovereign” issue is driving increases in research spending.
