Donate to Big 12 Food Pantry competition | E-News

The Rack: WVU Student Food Pantry is facing off against the University of Houston Cougar Cupboard by collecting food donations leading up to the football game against the Cougars tomorrow (Oct. 12). 

Donations made through Friday (Oct. 13) will be counted in the competition.

Donations will be collected at The Rack, 660 North High Street, or they can be ordered and delivered through an Amazon Wish List. Monetary donations will also be accepted and every dollar donated will equal one pound of food. 

The food pantry with the most donations will be announced the week of Oct. 16.

The Rack is a member of the Big 12 Food Pantry Alliance, created during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for members to discuss food insecurity on campuses and collaborate on projects. The collaboration aims to improve the relationships and operations of the food pantries within the Big 12 Conference.
