Ogden mayoral candidates participate in a forum on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023. Two more forums and meet-and-greets featuring local candidates are set for later next week.
There will be two opportunities next week for the public to hear from local candidates for elected office.
On Thursday, Weber State University will be holding a meet-and-greet with all candidates from around Weber County.
The event will be held in the Shepherd Union Ballrooms on the WSU campus from 6-8 p.m.
A second event — this one specific to Ogden City Council candidates — is set for Aug. 12.
This forum and meet-and-greet will be held at the Two Bit Street Cafe from 5-7 p.m.
Both events are open to the public.
