On the 29th and 30th April, the 2019 Global Blockchain Investment Summit was held successfully in Seoul, South Korea. Orient Walt (HTDF) presented itself to the large-scaled international conference of the blockchain industry, as a public chain that was dedicated to create the world’s first “Smart Home” digital eco-community. After the presentation, the star project won praises, recognition and trust from participants and investors of various countries.
The summit was co-sponsored by Block Global, the world’s leading blockchain technology media group, DConference — a well-known blockchain ecosystem platform in South Korea and Coinin, a South Korean blockchain community media. The summit focused mainly on industrial hot issues concerning blockchain deployment of the giants, asset management, the new era of digital financial technology, industry trends and global policies. More than 20 well-known VC investment institutions, 50 large banks/securities/insurance companies, 20 traditional enterprises, 20 top blockchain funds, 100 global blockchain projects, 30 well-known cryptoexchanges and 2,000 blockchain enthusiasts and investors participated the summit.
Many large companies attended the summit, there were local giants such as South Korea sovereign wealth fund, KIC; South Korean largest financial investment group, Hana Financial Investment; Samsung SDS of the ICT company owned by Samsung; the largest telecom operator of South Korea, SK Telecom; the largest insurance company of South Korea, Hyundai Marine Insurance; Kookmin Bank, the largest commercial bank of South Korea. Also global enterprises as internet giant IBM, the world’s largest asset management company BlackRock, top ten asset management company of the world Schroeder, two of “the big four” — PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte, largest life insurance company in America MetLife, the largest securities company of Japan Nomura, and world’s second largest cloud company SAP, made appearance on the summit, which made a great influence in not only South Korea, but also worldwide. The reprentatives of the companies gathered around to share views on digital financial technology and the bright future of the blockchain.
At the summit, Vice President of Huawei Blockchain Technology William Michael Genovese, founding partner of Node Capital Du Jun, Mayor of Damaha Island, Bahamas and STO expert Don G. Cornish, and other industry leaders such as executives of banks, securities and insurance and other financial institutions from Asia Pacific area, attended the summit and delivered keynote speeches. Mr. Shao Lin, Commercial Director of Orient Walt (HTDF) and Yuan Xiaoxu, the ambassador of Orient Walt (HTDF), gave a detailed introduction to the initiative, core technology, unique advantages and application scenarios of the project. Orient Walt (HTDF) has innovated eight technical features, and integrated eight ecological application scenarios into the community: entertainment games, social payment, mall system, cultural copyright, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, charity, and value sharing. Orient Walt (HTDF) also proposes a unique solution that is targeted at the common fact of the current blockchain industry failing to achieve a large-scale commercialization of multi-domain decentralized applications. Participants had deeply recognized the technical strength and the potential of Orient Walt (HTDF), and followed the WeChat subscription account and joined the official community immediately, which indicated that they would pay close attention to the technology and the progress of the project, as well as the updates of the exchange launching. Nearly 160,000 community users is now working together to build a “Smart Home” ecosystem.
